How we work!
TNF Transport LLC operates as a dual-purpose organization. One facet of our business, recognized as a minority-owned small business, functions as an agency-based model representing asset-based carriers. In this capacity, we serve as the designated agent for various companies, representing their interests in government contractual agreements. Our responsibilities include submitting and evaluating their voluntary tenders, managing everything from ATR to spot bids, conducting negotiations, and acting as the dispatcher for drivers. We also play a crucial role in screening and vetting drivers before their assignments to ensure they carry two forms of government-issued ID and TWIC when required, in addition to having clean backgrounds. This hands-on approach ensures our involvement in every step of the load process, not just in delivery but also in its seamless completion, including billing in Syncada. It's important to note that our agency relationship with each company sets us apart from traditional "brokers” by allowing a single POC for multiple asset-based trucking companies. Giving accountability and contractual representation for open deck, closed van, and specialized heavy haul carriers, amounting to over 8,000 trucks.
Deployment
TNF specializes in transportation and logistics solutions for deployment operation. We collaborate with Transportation/Project Managers, Transportation Officers (TO), or Installation Transportation Officers (ITO). We utilize data provided by the shipping entity to create a comprehensive load plan based on our prior experiences with shipping configurations and requirements. These requirements encompass a range of services, such as handling hazardous materials, MHE, crane and rigging services, on-site assistance, staging logistics, deployment of the company's portable ramp systems, and on-site cutting of CBLs to ensure accurate tracking and tracing. This, in conjunction with our agency role and our stringent driver screening and vetting process, enables us to deliver the required number of units using various types of conveyances ensuring mission success.
Legal/ OD Freight
We handle the freight arrangement of all cargo from legal to oversized. From Coast to coast or local movements our team has the experience and knowledge to ensure all requirements for your cargo are being met.
Representative on Site
TNF provides on site representatives during customer projects to ensure every aspect is meeting the customers expectations. Our on site staff is able to identify and correct any issue that may lead to a delay in operations.
No Dock, No Problem!
To meet our customers demands we had manufactured several portable heavy duty self standing ramp systems. These ramps allow us to load rolling stock in locations where docks are not available. Our ramps have become essential in making our load out operations run smooth for both flatbed and step deck cargo.
